Clean Weed Killer Recipe
Clean It All Out
I’ve made it known that I want to use more natural products in my home and in our daily lives. I just want to clean out all toxins that could be harmful for me and my family. So, I have been slowly converting everything that we use to more natural products. When I decided I wanted to clean out my current flower beds and redesign them, I knew I didn’t want to use harsh chemicals, because my family (including the dogs) spends most of our time in the yard when it is warm. I found a natural weed killing recipe that I thought would be good to share! I know so many of us are trying to create cleaner habits, so let’s go on this journey together. 🙂

Clean Ingredients and Easy to Use!
I have linked everything you need to clean (pardon the pun) out your flowers beds the natural way in my Amazon storefront, so it’s easy to find.
You’ll want to grab this 1-gallon multi-purpose sprayer. It makes spreading the mixture much easier. This weed puller is also a very good tool to clear out the more stubborn weeds that just need to be pulled out. I also recommend using a mask and gloves, because these products aren’t harmful, but the still aren’t pleasant to smell and you really don’t want them lingering on your hands (or in your nostrils).
Super Simple
The mixture is made up of Dawn dish soap, Morton iodized salt, and 30% vinegar. I’ve had some questions if this mixture will kill everything, and the answer is: YES it will. Which was my goal.
Here are the exact measurements of the ingredients:
1 gallon of 30% vinegar
1 cup of salt
A few drops of dish soap
Ta-Da! A Clean Slate!
This doesn’t take long. You simply spray the concoction onto whatever you want to kill, and by the end of the day, it will be dead. Then you can clear everything away and plant everything that you want. Happy cleaning! 🙂
